Ey Up Chuck
I was asked to create a logo for a start-up Jewellery & Homeware brand based in Brighton.
After research and discussion with the company about target audience and competition, it was concluded that the logo should be fun, happy and characterful.
Numerous iterations later and we've ended up with a soft and playful mark using negative space as if cut like the jewellery they sell.
I then developed some business cards based around characters they already had, adding my own leaf vectors to a tropical scene and suggesting colour for their mountain scene.
Further down this listing, I've included some Jewellery backing cards I made for various ranges.
Above are the Jewellery backing card ideas. They were meant to set scenes for the jewellery rather than being a blank branded card like you often see on the high street. As their shop is smaller and personal it's easy to go this extra mile, and it definitely adds value to the product as well as making the product more desirable. The image shows a range of techniques and skills, from vector drawing, digital painting, pattern making to photography.
